Agreement

These terms govern your use of Reco, a location discovery app designed by Tom Wicks and based in the United Kingdom. By using Reco, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Reco provides

Reco provides curated information about places such as restaurants, bars, and cultural venues. Place information — including descriptions, opening hours, addresses, and accessibility details — is provided in good faith but may not always be accurate or up to date. Always verify details directly with a venue before visiting.

No warranty

Reco is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information it provides is complete or accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Reco. My total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for it (if any).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Reco for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading reports about places
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure

Intellectual property

The Reco app, its design, and the curated content within it are my intellectual property or are used with permission. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without my prior written consent.

User-submitted reports

When you submit a report about a place, you grant me a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that information for the purpose of maintaining and improving place data within Reco. Reports are anonymous and cannot be attributed to you.

Third-party content

Reco may display map data provided by Apple MapKit. Your use of map features is also subject to Apple's terms of service. I am not responsible for the accuracy of third-party map data.

Availability

I may modify, suspend, or discontinue Reco at any time without notice or liability. I am under no obligation to maintain or update the app.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Reco shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
